Our Mindset Matters
It is officially the fourth nine weeks. The school year and the time we get to spend with our students is coming to an end faster than we know it. In this nine weeks, we can tend to let our minds wander to everything we haven't gotten to yet. We think about things our students don't know yet or problems we will see happening around us. It is during this time that we need to reflect on our mindset to ensure that we are failing forward and looking at every bump in the road as an opportunity to get better as we continue moving forward. Our students need for us to show them that with each failure is an opportunity for success. We can do hard things, but we first have to believe that we can. I want to challenge you to think of at least one thing that you have decided was too hard to do at this point in the year. How can we make this happen? Who do you need for support to achieve this?
