Extraordinary

Extraordinay is defined as  going beyond what is usual, regular, or customary. I would argue that this is what sets PVES apart from other schools. Our staff shows up and does whatever it takes for the students that walk through our doors every single day. It is doing the ordinary things in an uncommon way, going beyond what is expected that sets us on the path to success. I want to challenge you in this last month of school to finish strong in an extraordinary way. Our visitors from last week would agree, you are doing the right work extraordinarily well. Keep up the amazing work! It has eternal value for the students in your classrooms.  A look at what is happening around PVES... Our intervention team has been working diligently alongside teachers to best support our students. In third grade PLC, the teachers brought their CFA, sorted them out, and created a team game plan for how to best support the students who were still not proficient. Many of our teams are doing this now...

This week is National Assistant Principal Week and I want to be sure to pause and say thank you to two amazing ladies who are committed to doing whatever it takes for the staff and students at PVES. We are so blessed by the leadership of Mrs. Horn and Mrs. Martin. These two ladies are incredibly gifted and passionate about education and seeing students learn at high levels. They go above and beyond each and every day to pour into the students we serve and their families. They also are intentional about supporting our staff members and making sure that you are set up for success. I hope you will join me this week as we honor them and say thank you to them for all they do each and every day!  Some great things happening around PVES...
